We are incredibly honored to finally release our very first compilation, Wild Bohemia Year One.
This annual tradition will showcase not only the signed artists of our label but also artists we deeply appreciate. We are thrilled to present a compilation featuring producers from around the globe: Acidulant from Malta, Isaac Varzim from Brazil, DJ Honesty from Germany, Christian Lappalainen and Pawel Kobak from Sweden, DJ Mourad TD216, Ogra, Seriously Sam, and Cali Kula from Tunisia, and Velvet Skin from France.
We are grateful to the artists who support us and have delivered outstanding tracks for this compilation.
We also want to extend our warmest thanks to Kms, our label associate, for managing and coordinating with the artists and making this compilation possible.
Wild Bohemia's "Year One" is a fantastic rewind, celebrating standout selections from our freshman year of releases.
1. Acidulant - "Anomalia": Acid Techno artist Acidulant keeps it classic warehouse style, expertly working his Roland gear. Expect that 303 to tickle your earhole and the vibe to rumble your chest.
2. Cali Kula - "Insane": From label head Cali Kula, this track hypnotizes the senses and maintains momentum with bumpin subs, bubbly low-end acid sounds, and swirling synths.
3. Christian Lappalainen - "Temppeliaukion Kirkko": A building acid line creeps into a dark techno groove with stabs of echoing layered synths, accented 303 bleeps and bloops, and a never-ending drive.
4. Dj Mourad - "Willy Kay" (Dj Honesty's ‘Deeper Dishes' Remix)**: Dj Honesty takes his 30 years of experience to deliver a rumbler remix with perfectly placed ping-ponging percussion and a funky stand-up bass.
5. Isaac Varzim - "S&A": Isaac melds genres uniquely with chill vibes, slower tempo, deep spoken word, and a mix of piano solos and trap hats, building to beautiful minimal breakdowns.
6. Ogra - "Paper": This track feels like a soundscape test with minute changes in fx, polyrhythms, and percussion, keeping your ears entertained throughout.
7. Pawel Kobak - "Give": A chuggy house vibe transitions into something heavier with vocal stabs and gated synths leading to a gorgeous breakdown and a bright journey back into the groove.
8. Seriously Sam - "Modern Phenomenon": A deep house track with luscious vocals, dark chords, and synth stabs providing momentum and progression.
9. Velvet Skin - "Private Flight": A deep house mover with a classy, warm feel that beautifully transitions between repetitive and hypnotic to surprises with simplicity.
With a look back at such a solid "Year One," we hope you keep your ears and eyes open for what we've got planned for the near future on Wild Bohemia Records.
