Cali Kula and Ogra will perform live for two exceptional nights as part of Bal Clandestin, a powerful choreographic piece by Tunisian creators Aïcha M’Barek and Hafiz Dhaou, at the prestigious Maison de la Danse de Lyon on May 21st and 22nd, 2025.

Known for their visionary work blending art and resistance, M’Barek and Dhaou have established a singular voice in the contemporary dance world. Following their landmark piece Sacré Printemps, which addressed dictatorship and oppression in the Arab world, they now invite audiences into a new kind of revolution—a collective liberation through dance and sound.

Bal Clandestin is a celebration of freedom, where personal histories of six dancers from different countries collide in a shared ritual of movement, energy, and hope. The music, performed live by Cali Kula and Ogra, fuels the catharsis. Blending high-voltage rhythms, dub textures, and unpredictable soundscapes, the sonic dimension reshapes the stage into a playground for defiance and joy.
